Hi fellow Bobcats! As we begin to settle in after the first couple weeks of the semester, here are a couple things to keep in mind to make sure you rock 2016!
1.Get on a regular sleeping schedule
This one can be especially hard coming back from late nights and even later mornings during winter break, but it can make all the difference! You should be getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night. To accomplish this goal, make sure you give yourself enough time to get in your PJs so your going to bed around the same time every night. For the morning, set your alarm for around the same time everyday with enough time to get dressed and pack your books for class!
2. Eat a healthy breakfast
Breakfast is the most important, yet most skipped meal of the day! Once you master a regular sleeping schedule, you should have enough time in the mornings to eat something to kick start your day. This doesn’t mean you have to spend hours cooking and washing dishes; you can grab something on the go as long as it’s healthy! Try a whole wheat bagel or a smoothie! Who doesn’t love an excuse to eat more?
3. Be organized
This tip is easier than it sounds! You can do simple things to be organized and improve your time management, like buying an agenda, using a calendar, or setting daily reminders on your smartphone! You can make getting organized fun by decorating your agenda and calendar or setting different ringtones to the reminders on your phone! These easy tricks will make it easy to keep track of tasks and events as you cross them off your list.
4. Be proactive – Careers don’t wait

5.Balance your responsibilities with some “me-time”
It’s important to make time for yourself as well as all of your responsibilities! After a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast, be proactive and schedule an hour or two in your agenda or calendar for exercise, crafting, Netflix – whatever will help you relieve some stress and conquer Spring 2016! Go Bobcats!!
